After trying and failing miserably at a few other ventures, my mum sadly got diagnosed with a type of cancer that was caused from a lifetime of smoking. At the time, I was also vaping like a chimney.
After the diagnosis, my entire family decided to quit vaping & smoking for good.
But it wasn't easy. We tried patches, gum, and everything else to help the cravings, but the truth is that they keep you addicted to nicotine.
And what we all noticed was that we missed the 'ritual'.
Need a break from work? Head out for a quick puff.
Finished dinner and ready to relax? Grab the vape and doom-scroll.
After explaining my families' struggles to James, we came up with an idea to replace the ritual - the hand-to-mouth habit - but with none of the bad stuff.
Me and my family were the guinea pigs, and I'm so proud of everyone because we're now all 2 years free from nicotine!
and even better, my mum beat her cancer after a couple years fighting and is doing OK :)
